The first article about Left Unspoken is now on Wikipedia. It is called “The Saros Cycle (film)“. I have specifically focused it on the circumstances surrounding the crowd scene, as any other information about the film will be going in another article. SPOILER ALERT! if you haven’t seen the film yet.
So pretty soon this site is going to go into a chrysalis and be reborn as “Left Unspoken”. Exciting, I know. I’m hoping to keep all of the existing content in the move and have things ready to start adding some interesting (well, I hope you find it interesting) information about the making of Left Unspoken.
Well, October 12th has been and gone. A very big “Thank you!” to all our extras who showed up on the day. You all worked and played hard and the helpers, crew and I appreciate it. I’m hoping that when we next meet again it will be at Tropfest 2009, with The Saros Cycle as a finalist. Watch this space for further updates.
No more extras are being accepted – The Saros Cycle is being filmed today! If you have already registered I look forward to seeing you – remember to bring your Release Form!!!
Well, this time next week we’ll be shooting the opening scene in Sydney. I just wanted to say “thank you!” to everyone who will be coming on the day. Some of you are putting an amazing effort in to your costumes and I look forward to seeing you all in person.
Don Meers has joined the team. Don is our Audio Engineer so when The Saros Cycle sounds great you’ll know why! Check out the Cast & Crew page for Don’s bio.
Hi all. I am writing this post because I have had a number of people ask me about the location of the shoot for the crowd scene. I am hoping to be able to announce it here on the site very soon. Please keep checking back. Thanks for your patience.
Update: I have spoken with the appropriate person in charge of permits today, and am hoping to make the announcement any day now.
Update 2: Our permit has now been approved. We are currently in the final stages of doing the paperwork.
Update 3: All extras will receive information about the location in the application confirmation e-mail or through the Eclipsed newsletter.
For all your Facebook junkies – help us to build interest and attract more extras by becoming a fan of The Saros Cycle. We now have a movie page there!
In a shameless display of self-promotion (!) I have updated the Cast & Crew page with my own details. Please, you watch 8).
